Chiropractors Included in National Health Service Corps Program On October 26 President Bush signed the Health Care Safety Net Improvement Act into law. This will allow, under certain circumstances, chiropractors engaged in the delivery of primary care services to be reimbursed for student loans in return for establishing and maintaining their practices in geographic areas designated as "medically underserved" by the federal government. Chiropractic College Opened in Florida Port Orange Florida recently welcomed the world’s newest chiropractic college – Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. The students began classes on October 7 in the Allen Green Civic Center, 4705 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. Classes will continue in the initial site until fall 2003, when construction will be completed on the first phase of the college’s permanent 25-acre campus on City Center Parkway.
