Chiropractic Management of Children with Low Back Pain According to previous studies, low back pain occurs in 50 percent of all children at some point in their childhood life with almost 15 percent experiencing frequent or continual pain. In order to determine the effectiveness of chiropractic care, researchers reviewed data provided from 15 chiropractors in 54 consecutive pediatric patients with low back pain. The children were managed with chiropractic adjustments (highly safe and specific forces applied to a patient’s spine).
